Well, I think this must be a record for the oldest thread bumped on any forum.
I'm trying to see your point.

I don't see as much involvement as there once was. Or is that my imagination?
It's almost as if all the writers were on strike and people didn't know what to say.

Why didn't you just say that?

hmm....something didn't work.....I'll have to recheck the forum permissions again. This thread shouldn't have been able to be bumped.
btw...I see new posts here daily.
Thankyou xjmt. You showed me something that isn't working.
After 7 days, threads are set to not allow bumping. (that's 7 days of no new posts) but it didn't work here.
Must fix.

And better than 50% of them are Henry trying to keep things alive by posting TV schedules for Charmed, Angel, Buffy and throwing puns elsewhere. Let's give him a break and somebody say something else for a change.
ps the soap opera forums (2) seem to keep chugging along but I don't watch soap operas.

What? That's not long enough. It would be a annoyance to be unable to reply on a thread just because it's been idle for a couple of months. Years okay; adding to a year old thread is rare enough that making a new thread (perhaps with a link to the old one) would suffice (this here thread excepted, perhaps?
). But months old, we regularly add replies to those, such as when a TV series has the next new episode after the end of a previous season.

Actually Henry, that's the default set by the forum software. I hadn't even looked at it, so when this thread got bumped, I had to go look. I can turn it off, but....it seems it doesn't work anyway.
What I normally do with threads like this one (that's after they've run their course) is just turn them into regular forum threads. I forgot too with this one.
Edit: Actually, I did remember to reset it as a regular thread.
Must be gettin old.
