Hey, we don't have a movie quote game going, do we?

Let's start with an easy one:

"A night within a day. A day within a night."

Well, if you were one of the people recently talking about that movie on another thread, it would be. ;)

Re "Took the words right out of my mouth."

That sounds unsanitary...

"A night within a day. A day within a night."

Hmm. I figured LHawke would catch that quote right off. Maybe not?

How 'bout we just start with quotes like;

"Here's looking at you babe."

"I coulda been a contender'".

"Rosebud".

"You call this archeology?"

"STELLA!"

Now THOSE I consider at the very least somewhat familiar to most folks.

Anyhoo.

"A night within a day. A day within a night." was from Ladyhawk. That's why I figured LHawke would get it.

Re "You call this archeology?" - Dr. Jones Sr.

Or a funnier part of the same movie:
"I thought you were one of them!"
"Dad, they come in through the door."
"Heh heh. Good point."

Okay, here's another one:

"After due consideration, Mr. Hammond, I've decided not to endorse your park."
"So have I."

Re "...forget the character names."

Yeah, me too, except for the one that was named in the quote.

Well Attenborough was Hammond.
Ah...found it. Sam Neil was Dr. Alan Grant.

I liked this movie. I even liked II and III.

Quote, "What's a nice girl like you doing in a joint like this?"

Answer, "Any bar in any city on any given night in any country in the world so it must have shown up in a gazillion movies a gazillion times." :smokin:

Just a question here, Henry. When was the last time you saw "LADYHAWKE"?

While I may have seen it 5 or 6 times it has been a couple of years since the last time. A quote that DOES stick in my head is from FIREFLY, "I see you've met". Or words to that effect.
